As you may have heard, the legislative commission on “Act 250 at 50” is seeking public input on Vermonters’ priorities for the future of the Vermont landscape.

The commission has created a brief survey, which can be accessed here:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9CSPHY7

The Vermont Planner’s Association has also developed a survey.  The VPA survey is addressed to participants with deep familiarity with Act 250.  If you have experience with Act 250, the VPA survey can be accessed here: https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4533728/VERMONT-PLANNERS-ASSOCIATION-ACT-250-SURVEY

Both surveys are open until mid-September.

Those who have particular experiences or opinions to share about Act 250 may  find that the surveys don’t offer the opportunity to address their particular concerns.  For those folks, we strongly encourage you to submit your comments directly to the legislative commission using this e-mail address:  Act250Comments@leg.state.vt.us

We believe that your written comments and suggestions about process improvement are essential to this process.

Thank you for your attention to this important process.

Sincerely,

Michael Schirling

Secretary of Commerce & Community Development
