The Fractal World Generator can generate several projections; if you want a
map to use as a texture to planetmaker.wthr.us (thanks to whoever pointed
that site out!), use FWG's "square" projection; for a Traveller icosahedral
map, use the "icosahedral" projection (gee, why such an obscure name?) (but
note that the icosahedral projection doesn't have a hexgrid overlaid).
