Just before SPI went belly-up in early '82, they published a 'High Crusade' boardgame in the their 'Ares' sci-fi/fantasy gaming mag.
It was c.1981 & they also published a 'tongue-in-cheek' dungeon-crawl sci-fi game starring the 'Stainless Steel Rat'. The ultimate JOAT is tasked w/ penetrating a space station where all the robotics have gone haywire.
Both of the games were great.
