In imperial space most likely, but what about on the rimward
side of Solomani space? The Ziru Sirka didn't push that
far, so apart from scattered and isolated minor human races,
there could be significant pockets of descendants of
Solomani who've never encountered another major human
race.

In fact, according to the CT LBB 'Solomani Rim' neither the 2nd or 3rd Imperium actually reached much farther rimward than just beyond Terra.
There *were* plans to expand further rimward after Terra (Old Earth Union) was annexed but that ended w/ the onset of the 1st Frontier War & the ensuing Civil War/2nd FW.
