Point.
Also, it occurs to me that if you are willing to trade time for fuel,
there's a good reason *not* to accelerate all the way. There has to
be *some* velocity where interplanetary dust & gas become a
significant hazard. Or at least a major annoyance.
True, it's gonna be a fractional-c velocity, but Traveller ships can
*do* that.
