I’d suggest that putting the files on a site like Github (free) or a site like it is likely a reasonable answer. That would provide a way to host the website at no cost as well as an archive for the files. The bandwidth volume does not likely compare with some of the more popular projects, and it is a relatively simple process if you want to transfer the account to someone else.
