Trav has become a real mish-mash, no?

And, while I haven't 'experienced' T5, from what I've read, mostly here, it's mostly succeeded in creating 'yet another Traveller'.

Let's see there's three currently (GT, T5, Mongoose) but it's my guess that GT will 'de-canonized' when it's license finally expires as did the other licensed stuff, way back when, so then there will be two 'official' versions left on top of all the previously published stuff.
No wonder the TU is such a conundrum. Still the fact that it's been popular enough to support so many morphs is really the true measure of the TU.
