For the buildings use Cad Standard by Apperson & Daughters -
http://www.cadstd.com/news.html. There is the free version - pretty good
- and the $37.50 Pro version - worth it for some of the things it allows
you to do. You export the drawing as a PDF and then manipulate any of
the large number of architectural symbols that can be found to add to
the pdf..
