I just finished reading the GURPS source book on the K'Kree, similar
thing happened in the Hiver Wars.  Hivers got some K'Kree border worlds
to go carnivorous.  K'Kree were so horrified that they nuked every world
within 6 parsecs of the Hiver border to sterilize them after the war.
