Well, I rebelled at where he wanted me to sit, minor, yes.  But I wanted a
seat out if the traffic flow.

The meal itself was pleasant, but of course my fil redirected every
conversation to anout him.

My wife could not relax.   One of his friends is a newspaper writer and
wants to write a piece on her,(shes an artist) at the pushing of my fil I
am sure.  She felt she had to be on stage.  She's culturally German, can't
help it.

I have yet to present to him how he was perceived, and he will oreyend to
not understand.   And he will calm down for a while.

Hid political party is conservative,  but he's a old conservative and
votes democratic, so no frition there.
