If you have worked with translation of documents:
Do you feel you get better results from...
* a human professional translator who is _not_ well-versed in the subject
matter of the document, but who is of native or near-native fluency and
erudite in both the original and target languages, or
* an automatic translation (e.g., Google Translate) followed by an 'edit
pass' by a subject-matter expert who has little or no knowledge of the
original language, but is of native fluency and possibly erudite in the
target language?
