This has to be taken as more-or-less the first generation, possibly even
the proof of concept. If this does moderately reasonable in the marketplace
(to be determined; it's not clear who the target customer is, beyond the
types that have techgasms over anything NEW! and DIFFERENT!), other
companies will come out with their own offerings (I'd guess that Samsung
and Amazon will probably be early entrants). Over time, just as happened
with phones and tablets, size and weight will go down; specs will go up.

Honestly, I don't see something like this ever coming down smaller than
about 'phablet' size - a little too large for a phone, a little too small
for a useful tablet.
