On Jewell itself, at least the following 3I nobles would have their persons and accompanying huscarles sacrosanct de jure from local silly buggers c 1123, as Jewell falls in their demenses: Strephon (Emperor) - Jewell being an Imperial world; Norris (Archduke Deneb) - Jewell being in the Domain of Deneb; Elane (Duchess Mora, Spinward Marches sector duchess) - Jewell being in the SM; Norris (Duke Regina) - Per Travwiki, the world answers to the Duke of Regina, so His Badass-Moustacheness is it; On top of those 4 distinct legal persons, the petit duke and count mentioned on Travwiki would also count (knights not, IIRC, being counted as high nobles). Your summation of "a minimum be treated like the ambassador from a country one cannot afford to irk" is bang on, that country being the Third Imperium. Other high nobles would _not_ be sacrosanct de jure. Fishing a pair of reprobates out of my first TU and skipping forward to the 1140s, we have: Danaarin, Duke of the Five Sisters (who swore his enlistment oath to Paulo III, not Strephon), and his younger identical twin brother, Mitchell (he anglicised his first name upon joining the IN, before rising to senior flag rank), now Duke of the Islands. Mitchell was elevated after masterminding the bridging of Reft sector and beginning the Imperialisation of the Islands cluster - he's still trying to work out if his elevation was reward, or punishment. On Jewell itself, neither of that pair would be immune from local detention. It may not be a _good idea_ for the Jewell government to do so, but that's de facto. Question for the list - could _other_ high nobles (the ones whose demesne doesn't encompass a given world) be declared _persona non grata_ by that world? Additional question for the list - how does the above differ during a subsector, sector or domain-level conclave/Moot/pissup? Alex
