What do you propose as the cost? If it's low enough, I could actually see
this as useful in 'economy' cabins, much like sleeping compartments in
trains, where the bed is 'put up' or otherwise converted into a day couch
when not actually made up for sleeping at night.

1.5m x 2.5m could be a convenient size for a 'single' stateroom/cabin, even
to 1m for the bed plus 0.5m for a 'nightstand'. Alternatively, 1m-1.5m x
3m, and the 'nightstand' can be more like a shelf 'behind' the headboard.
Additionally, this offers the possibility of not being the full 0.75m high,
but being set on a 0.3-0.5m under-bed storage module.
Perhaps the lower-price versions lack some of the nicer touches you've
described here such as the AI control (instead having a few standard
presets), temperature control, or mobility assist.
