Given that a few of these could be used to triangulate a signal, even if
they didn't give range and direction, I'd not have them in any campaign
where psions living in hiding were a thing, because as soon as anyone
cared they wouldn't be in fairly short order.

Of course if the TL9+ Psi Scanner is available the anti-psi cops don't
need a Psi Detector.

IMTU such things generally don't exist - if you want to track down a
psion, bring your own. The Zhos could probably design such a device, but
have little motivation to do so.
