Yep, for the number of disparate things it is supposed to cover or do
it's gotta be a bunch of related bits of hardware.

I have been of the opinion for number of years that assuming that a
ship has enough computers to get the job done, and that unless special
equipment or programing is installed said computers are part of the
controls slice of the hull.
