Some Rough Numbers base off of Ian's Suggestion;
Lasers
Beam, 1
Pulse, 2
Beam 13+, 1.5
Pulse 13+, 2.5
Energy,
Plasma 10, 3
Plasma 11, 3.5
Plasma 12, 4
Plasma 14, 6
Fusion 12, 11
Fusion 14, 16
Ok, these are derived from the guidelines in Striker and normalized
from the gross penetration figures into book 2 terms. The final number
is the damage number, the 1st is the tech level.
I haven't done PAs or Meson Guns yet, PAs because there is no guidance
within striker, and Meson Bays as I haven't done bays yet. Missiles
are covered by by the Special supplement.
The other question that I keep coming to is how to do Starship armor
in Book 2 terms.
