Probably.
Humans developed in a 1-G-Environment, and spent about 1/3 of their
lifes sleeping so.
Just to start, humans are in the morning about 3 cm larger than in the
evening. This is because the intervertebral discs in the human spine
can expand during sleep, before they are compressed due the upright walk
again during the day.
Ask anybody who had to use a to soft mattress how his back feels like.
