Do you have a reference for that? It might be close enough to where I'm writing about to be important. I may have read it yonks back, but it's not coming to mind. tc ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ AFAI remember it was only in the TNS newsfeed that SJG took over, but has been neglecting lately, although, AFAIK, all the old 'dispatches' are still avail thru the SJG website. What became 'newsworthy' was when the old, aslan, duke died w/o 'issue'. (An Aslan lord w/ no 'issue'!?!?!) So, there was a subsector 'conclave' to elect a new subsector duke. It was mentioned that there was NOT a requirement that the new guy be aslan &, as it turned, the new guy was human. Mention was made of the old duke's homeworld, which was aslan & in the subsector of the SolRim for which he held the title. (along the spinward edge, I believe) SJG 'updated' a lot of things, they had the AD move the domain cap from Dingir to the cap world of the Vegans & they also had a war break out on one of the worlds that Vegans & Humans share. It went badly, at first, for the Vegans until the 3I massively intervened w/ an Imperial Army. There's lot's & lot's of 'nuggets' in SJG's TNS newsfeed. They even dealt w/ some of the stuff left hanging when MT came out w/ the Rebellion. Such as the 'hyperspace sickness question' that appeared towards the end of CT. ==================================================================================================
