Back in the 90s, when I did a lot of hands-on computer repair, one of the things we kept an eye on was dust and such that built up on the circuit boards because the accepted reality was that if we suddenly removed this "insulation", the system could glitch because it wasn't used to not having the insulation (i.e. dust and stuff). Whether this was true or not, the dust (some was very thick) did raise the operating temperature because the heat was trapped. Something like this could happen...the yard crew, quite competent, fixed the problem but also had to clean systems while doing so...they start the ship, everything works, and then systems start failing because boards are burning out. -- Kurt Feltenberger xxxxxx@thepaw.org/xxxxxx@yahoo.com “Before today, I was scared to live, after today, I'm scared I'm not living enough." - Me -- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. https://www.avg.com
