This brings to mind a topic that I've mulled off&on over the years;

How much has the 3I changed/evolved from the time of Cleon to the time of Strephon?

There *have* been a number of upheavals, some of which (disregarding the 'final' one of course) that could be regarded a cataclysmic or, at least, 'empire-changing'.

Would a citizen (or even a noble, or a royal) look back at, let's say, Year 100, & see something akin to what someone in the UK would looking back at 1100AD?
