The young scout came back out of the engine room, carrying the metal contraption. His neatly pressed uniform was stained and had a small tear on the sleeve. "I got it sir" "Don't call me sir" the veteran said. "Bring it over here" The young scout put the heaved the steaming hot thing onto the table, and removed his safety gloves. "What is that thing. I don't recall it I any of the schematics from the academy" The veteran ignored him, and pried the lid off with a heavy screwdriver. The pungent smell of cooking meat hit like a wave. "Your first dinner cooked on the HEPLAR heat exchanger, I take it?"
