Perusing the space shuttle crew book.
I've made it to chapter 2.23 ... SpaceHab.
 And I just had a flash for a new Traveller "thing" - a rigid
front/back with collapsable sides (accordion style) that just fits in
a Type-S cargo bay.
Open the outer door, pressurize the SpaceHab, and then cast off the
6-dton mini-space station.

Something for Belters, or for long term studies or whatever

Maybe one small (2 dton) cabin, another one for a workspace to examine
your mined loot, and 2 dtons of solar panels, batteries and life
support?
