IMO, we're getting into the sort of thing that SJG's MURPHY'S RULES
(remember those?) used to mock, where (e.g.) players can only move in
two dimensions and are thus incapable of jumping or climbing, and can be
utterly thwarted by low fences and waist-high walls.  Because The Rules
(or the video game code) Say So, and accurately modeling reality is
either a lesser concern or not at all.
