I like to joke that the main refinement/reason to append "-Leninism" to
Marxism was to make a place in the revolution (which Marx says will
arise on its own, spontaneously, when the workers get sufficiently and
collectively tired of the rich's shit) for, and justifying the existence
of, all the overeducated disaffected young men whose main occupation/
contribution seems to be hanging out in coffee shops and talking
endlessly /about/ it.  You know... "hipsters".  :p
