It strikes me that this sort of gadget would be SOP for BattleSuit/CombatArmor equipped personnel with F/PGMP's. I would expect that the 'cord' option would be in effect as the miniatures usually show the troops carrying the weapons. Heck BattleDress even has the weapon sorta' 'built-in'. Of course, for certain 'ambush' scenarios I suppose weapons could be used similarly to the way claymores are deployed, only w/ a lot better situatonal awareness. I would still prefer a cord option. Well-shielded of course. -------------------------------------------- On Thu, 5/8/14, Ian Whitchurch <xxxxxx@gmail.com> wrote: Subject: Re: [TML] Cool new Traveller tech in production To: xxxxxx@simplelists.com Date: Thursday, May 8, 2014, 2:59 PM Broadcasting your position is bad for your health, as is being too far from your personal weapon. Me, I suggest using a cord. Note Hizbollah, despite a general 1-2 tech level disadvantage, did good work tracking emissions from various Israeli military units during the last Lebannon war.
