From ~Supplement 8: Library Data (A-M)~: "The three most widespread human races are the Solomani (humans from Terra), the Vilani (humans from Vland), and the Zhodani (humans from Zhodane)."

Of course, "Zhodane" is a "galanglicization" of "Zhdant," the actual Zhodani name for their homeworld.

There's also a clever bit in the feature adventure in ~Traveller's Digest~ #5 in which some . . . "Vliani supremacists" seek to take advantage of the uncertain origins of the term "Solomani."
