For those who have recently tried to access the Citizens of the Imperium website or the Traveller wiki and thought they were down ... they're not. There is an ongoing battle with an ISP in the British Virgin Islands that keeps sending out false DNS updates that re-points the travellerrpg.com domain to a spam page. Sometimes you can get to the real site, sometimes you can't, sometimes you can if you go through a proxy. It may be coincidence that this all started shortly after one of Marc Miller's associates (and a moderator on CotI) sent a note to another site that was illegally hosting the CT collection asking them to remove it. The task to stop these false DNS entries is, as I said, ongoing. But in the meantime anyone wanting to access the real sites (assuming you are affected) might want to try adding the following entries to your hosts file (or whatever your OS equivalent is): 209.59.173.114 travellerrpg.com 209.59.173.114 wiki.travellerrpg.com 209.59.173.114 www.travellerrpg.com Regards Hemdian
