TL 8/9 dive equipment?

This video popped up on my YT feed and after watching it, if it can do
what they claim, it could revolutionize diving.  The two RRC cartridges,
each about the size of a 12oz soda can, together provide about 60
minutes of breathable air.  I can see a future design where a pair of
cans the size of 2 liter soda bottles are used to provide several hours
under the water.  And all this at a depth of up to 42 meters (~137
feet).  The real questions are whether this is possible at a competitive
price point (all things considered), meets the claims, and can be
certified and approved.
