... a MEDICAL career in Traveller. What should it look like? If using the Mongoose model, what specializations should there be? (I lean toward something roughly like "General Practice", "Surgery", "Research" - but that may not be the best way to do it.) In the Classic/Mega model, obviously College and Medical School "pre-enlistment" options should be required, not options. In any version, what skills should be included in the career, and of them, which should be converted to cascade/cluster - or which should be converted from cascade/cluster to single skill? If you allow for incorporating the GURPS concepts of Advantages and Disadvantages, what A/D should apply to the career? Feedback, please, and relatively quickly - I'd like to present a Medical career as one of the articles in the forthcoming Compassion Corps issue of Freelance Traveller... ®Traveller is a registered trademark of Far Future Enterprises, 1977-2018.
