Yes, CT LBB 2 Starships does allow mixed turrets on hulls from 100 d-tons to 5,000 d-tons. In addition to the mixed turrets CT LBB 2 you can purchase empty single, double, and triple turrets in which to install a pulse or beam laser, not both into the same turret, a sandcaster, and/or a missile rack. CT HG2 and the MT Consolidated Errata limit the use of mixed weaponry turrets to 1,000 d-tons.

I will agree that in HG does cover mixed turrets and how the weapons UPC is determined. I will also agree that in MT the requirements that determine the UCP for non-mixed turrets. I do not agree that MT clearly states the UCP requirements for mixed turret the only information provided on errata page 30 provides the process for having mixed turrets

Thank you for your clarification to my poorly worded example and the reminder that mixed weaponry turrets actually originated in CT LBB2.
