Thirdly, in Challenge issue 37, there is a 2300AD scenario 'Three Blind Mice' by David Nilsen, which while built around a scouting campaign, contains a lot of advice on just how to run the scenario that will be very useful in running 'Pirates of Drinax'. JTAS 19, which contains 'The Ecology of Piracy in the Spinward Main' and Challenge 25 which contains the article 'Bait: Q-Ships in Traveller' are also worth seeking out for material which is useful. Also worth considering is Challenge 60's MegaTraveller article 'Ships of the Black War', several of the ships in that article actually entered Imperial service prior to the Fifth Frontier War (Which is still in the future...) and might turn up as part of the 198th PF, either as some of the ships swept up by Vice Admiral Krond, or later on, for the latter I'm assuming Krond pulls some strings, or someone higher up decides to give some additional crews experience/test a new design in a combat situation.
One way to justify this is to assume that when the supply ship is escorted back to Imperial space the swap takes place then.
More to follow as they come to me.
