I thought we were discussing the effects of introducing
missile pods into canon (or at least near-canon) Traveller. In
that specific situation, missile pods are going to give system
defenders a large advantage, particularly since it is one that's
[relatively] cheap to implement.
Has Traveller begun modeling EMP effects and time on target
attacks? Or is everything still lumped into one abstract turn? I
haven't bothered much with any rules set past MT, but when I looked
at TNE, GT, T5, and M1, I don't seem to recall ever seeing such
rules.
