I don't know if those outside the UK can access the current BBC natural history series Blue Planet II but it really is a marvel of astonishment each week. Quite jaw dropping. Whether it's fish using tools or octopi being geniuses, or critters I've never even heard of (a pyjama shark??), not an episode goes past when a couple of times, at least, I really think I'm watching life on an alien world. If you don't watch this and have a sense that you're just not being anywhere near imaginative enough with your Traveller animals, then I'm impressed.
Together with stunning photography, interesting science (including background looks at some of how they get the footage or know how to get these rare animals or events), this is easily worth seeking out and even paying for. Highly recommended.
