Since I'm coordinating, I'll make initial judgements. The easiest thing to do with that M9v system is to change the star. Make it a K8V and you'd still have an interesting place, but one where the local star puts out enough energy to support life as we know it.


Couldn't you use orbital mirror arrays to concentrate sunlight on an iceball, melting it into a habitable planet? This doesn't have to be a Darrian or Ancients thing. The mirror array could date from the Swordworlds' temporary expansion or from the First Imperium. It wouldn't require very high tech.
