Also as I understand it CrImp is not a common currency on most worlds because each world has it's own currency. So CrImp would be used by starships and their crews a lot but they would be converting them to local when they land on at a star-port. Or one could use CrImp as a way of moving money from one system to another. So I don't see counter fitting being a big problem in the imperium but a local system may have a problem for some reason (insert adventure hook here).
