Well, Saganami Island Tactical Simulator is pretty much exactly that ...

The combat system was completely different, though. Designed to have all of the missiles from a ship resolve at a go, and all of the defenses attrit them, etc., so no rolling for each weapon. Squadron Strike doesn't have and "invulnerable facing" option, either.

Has anyone created Squadron Strike rules for David Weber's Honorverse or David Drakes RCN series? These two settings  would be on the opposite ends of the size/range/damage scale, with the RCN ships much closer to Traveller Adventure class ships (e.g. even the largest capital ships in the RCN books have only a handful of missile launchers and plasma cannon turrets).
