I just love that character! He has so MANY great bits! If I ever have occasion for a megacorporate "Mr. Johnson" in a game again, I'm going to try my best to summon his spirit for said NPC. Although I doubt I'll be able to come anywhere close to delivering my lines with the same aplomb that James Spader uses, moving from good humor to cold-blooded violence in the literal blink of an eye. Spader's Reddington is so self-possessed most of the time that the rare occasions when he's genuinely surprised are priceless, even though he recovers quickly . . .

Catching everyone completely flatfooted, the captured Christopher Maly [1.18 "Milton Bobbit"] leaps out the window to his death.

Reddington: Okay then. 

Keen: What now? What are you doing? 

Reddington: Putting on my coat. 

Keen: A man just jumped through the window. There's a body on the sidewalk. 

Reddington: Yes. And your husband, the police and all the king's men will be here soon. If you care to stick around and explain, feel free, but I for one will not be in attendance. Dembe, I'll get her downstairs. After you're finished, grab the pretzels.
