Hi Graham,

It’s set on Funeral (the world) A585000-0 / 0309 Orion.

Best regards,

Ewan

Which world is it set on?

3 has “Funeral” a solo adventure set in Orion Subsector. I have no idea if Orion is the subsector in 2 (as I don’t have 2)

It’s a world map crawl in an ATV with various encounters.

Rather than making separate posts and getting caught by the spam filter I'm going to combine to queries related to Alien Star fanzine.

First, does anyone know if any of the adventures published in the fanzine made use of either of the subsectors published in issues 2 & 5?

OK, I can tackle something of this question.  The only one that meets your query is in #2, although #5 has something that might be of interest.

Issue 1 has 'The Imperium Hit' but it's set on Rapp's World in Querion subsector, Spinward Marches and 'The Archimedes Project' which is more deck plan but has a scenario from Judice also in the Spinward Marches.

Yes, 'Rockard City' in issue 2 is set on Rockard (0406).  Describing it as an adventure is perhaps a little generous.  It's a five page (A4) description of the place with half a page of 5 very short adventure seeds.  By Robert McMahon.  'The Night Spiral' in the same issue is set on Dawnworld in District 268.

Issue 3 I don't have so I can't comment on that.  (If anyone does have sight of this so I can add the articles to the bibliography, please let me know.)

Issue 4 has 'The Artrix Bust' set on La'Belle in the Spinward Marches.  Does include a hand drawn world map!  'The Ghandi File' is set, perhaps unsurprisingly on Ghandi in the same subsector (Lanth).

Issue 5 has 'Hadley' which is a four page (A4) description of the world in The Anniversary Subsector.  (Rather a nice hand drawn world map).  No adventure in the issue although there is a page and a half on putting an adventure together.

Issue 6 has 'The Scavengers' - a choose your own adventure - set on an "unexplored part of a named world" (i.e. anywhere that might be suitable).  No other adventure.

Issue 7 'System Failure' set on "the pleasure world" of Diz which I don't think is located anywhere.

Issue 8 has 'Escape Route' which is a Azhanti High Lightning solitaire play scenario.  With a scantily clad fighter who seems to need to pull her knickers up, but which is set on "any Tech 8 world."

That's it.  To the best of my knowledge there were only 8 issues.  Shout if you need more info, I'll keep the issues out for a day or two (might dip into them again at coffee breaks now they're off the shelves).

Hope this helps
