For my next major transcription project I thought I would try and reconstruct the AABP version of Corridor Sector. As far as I can tell this was based on the version published in the Mileau 0 campaign book with some additional world detailing taking place.

Details were printed in AAB Proceedings 37 - 40, I have copies of issues 38 - 40 in PDF form. So I was wondering if anyone has a copy of Issue 37 that they would be willing to scan and forward to me. I have checked the internet archive and they do not have a copy of issue 37.

Now for those who wonder just how I do a transcription, the key item is what I call a sector baseline document.

This contains the basic formatting used for Traveller Map sectors and a long list of hex numbers from 0101 to 3240. This is the key to any successful transcription. I've found in a lot of cases with a lot of the early published sectors that the subsector hexes are simply written using the 0101 to 0810 layout of Subsector 'A'.

The 'baseline' document allows correct placement of systems in the sector.

The next step is to identify all material's written for the sector/subsector under transcription, in this case it appears that all the work done in AAB Proceedings was concentrated in Issues 37 - 40 and comprise a discussion of the sector (In issue 37.) descriptions of Arkind(Veppim) and Dammira (In issue 38.), mapping of the 'Empire of Freebooters' and world maps for Apki Asa and Tekkfakkh (In issue 39.) and finally a description of Lir appeared in issue 40. If any additional work appeared I have not yet located it. As mentioned earlier in this post I am hoping I might be able to locate other material, especially AABP Issue 37, currently not in my possession if it still exists. One key thing I need is a copy of the Allegiance table created for that version of the Sector. The one published map (In issue 38) has allegiance codes 'Na' '--', 'V+ (or 'Vt)', 'Va', 'Vs' & 'Cs', but no explanation.

With the transcription I am currently working on, which when it goes up on Traveller Map will be called 'Corridor (AABP)', the intention is to only detail those systems covered by the AABP material. Systems outside this will probably  be marked as 'Unexplored' systems, since there appears to be some variance between the material in the Mileau 0 Sourcebook and what was published in AABP, with the most notable being the name of the Vargr polity, in Mileau 0 it's called the 'Empire of Freeboots' in AAB Proceeding it's consistently called the 'Empire of Freebooters'.
