A house has problems such as being in an area prone to flooding, tornadoes/hurricanes/typhoons and other acts of nature. The electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling systems can fail. The structure of the house like roofs after time leak.

Business or governance - an executive or noble may prefer to run their headquarters from a mobile office, visiting sites on other planets on a rotating basis (Medieval nobles and monarchs did this).
Hobby/pursuit - the owner may have some other interest that requires visiting different planets and may prefer to take their home/collection with them. The safari ship could be a modest version of this.
Exactly. On both counts (no pun intended). The Count did both of these - which is why on the backend there's a great domed garden - imagine a smaller Silent Running dome - with a hydroponics deck beneath it. Part of the adventure concerns dilettante son bringing back a rare plant gift for parents. Not to mention the collection of arms for use on either the fencing piste or the shooting range. (I did mention it was big, didn't I?) And the Countess loves her midnight swim in the pool.

All true. Of course a vehicle has many of the same problems and some extras
