I was just watching a 'straight-to-DVD' SF Heist film called Velocity Trap, the film is nothing special, but it did have a nice pre-credits sequence in the form of a 'channel hopping' sequence which opens with an advert for a spacecraft weapons firm that has a prominent "Simulation - Actual battles may vary" notice plastered across the bottom of the screen and closes with an advert for an interstellar bank...

That alone is something worth stealing for a scenario.
