Useful possibly/scary certainty:
Found in Armaments Locker - stainless pin ring with attached red strap embroidered with 'pull to arm' NOT currently inserted and unclear where it came out of.

Useful maybe, but comical:
Two manuals for a portable chain rotation cutter for trees. Both in the same languages but one 4x larger with profligate warning and caution notes. The larger is for distribution in a very high law level and highly litigious society. The other has few obvious warnings and originates from a planet known for a minimally litigious planet known for common sense. You recall someone once noting "if anyone in the place this cutter was made chose to stupidly stop the spinning chain with their hand, they'd have been too embarased to sue." [Husqvarna]

Another couple of things to add to the bitz box:

An unused sticker with "CAUTION: DO NOT LOOK INTO LASER {illegible}",

The magic/more magic switch from the MIT AI Lab (double lulz if its

your engineer go puce),

A plush drop bear, fangs, black fur and all,

A holodisc/other read-only memory copy of an album by a band called
Veedback - but not the real famous ones,

(I slammed into that one personally - the east-coast Pendulum and
west-coast Pendulum are two _very_ different groups)

A bag of some sort of powder labelled "Used dynamite".

Theres an Unused Laser Sticker? That’s going right on the showerhead! On a RL note, the sheer number of inappropriate warning stickers my coworkers have placed on their gear is hilarious - although I have yet to get one of the fabled “For Rectal Use Only” stickers on my helmet, or “Not For Fall-Pro(tection)” on a clipboard. But think of the warning label stickers you could have on a spaceship! I mean, labeling the septic system with “Biohazard Threat” is accurate... but the captains coffee mug?

So (Probably Not Useful)
-rolls of warning labels, detailing either hazards (such as “Biohazard”, “Caution: Do Not Look Into Laser”,  and “Warning: Enclosed Space”) or acceptable use (examples “For Rectal Use Only”, “Cannot be Used in Zero Gravity”, and “Not A Structural Attachment Point”). Most have been obviously placed on inappropriate items around the ship.
(Color Item) - a sign bearing the text “The ships locker is not the lost and found“. Beneath that is written “Caution: Contents May Have Shifted During Shipping”
(Actually useful) - a manual detailing how the network ports on the ships main computer were configured and which ones went to each subsystem. Compared to the tangled mess caused by multiple minor systems upgrades and overhauls, it looks nice. It’s also not compatible with your current equipment.
