In trying to follow a suggestion by Thomas Rux about weapon lengths in FF&S Mk1 Mod1 printing, I saw the following as I scrolled past the dedications ets...

" Dedicated To: Joel, Gypsy, Tom, and Crow
Not Dedicated To: Robert J. Lipper"

I tried the powers of duckooglebing to no particular avail. I could find no particular connection to any Robert J. Lipper and Traveller.

Can someone edu-ma-cate me? Does anyone know what explains that anti-dedication in FF&S?
