Adding ships to MTU … a missile variant of the TL 10 Autonomous Fighters. Drop them around a Gass Giant and let them get on with the job as long as they don’t run out of ammo …
As with the others I haven’t playtested them in combat yet.

The Arrayda class autonomous fighter is an experimental County naval design using the NHR Basic Function 570 Intelligent Robot Brain instead of both pilot and computer.
The County Navy is evaluating the fighter for patrolling and securing remote gass giants. This would allow the potential to secure fuel sources from sub 1,000 ton shipping with minimal additional Navy deployment.
The expected deployment looks to be a squadron of 12 Arrayda Fighters with a reduced flight of 2 SDBs, with the Arrayda’s being subordinate to the commander of the SDB flight.
So far evaluations of the deployment in the Darnikki system are going well.
Squadrons of Arrayda Fighters number 12 fighters split into 2 flights of 6 in order to organise each beam laser into a single battery of 6 with a UCP of 3, or 4 if the squadron form a single battery.
One fighter in each flight is designated lead, and one flight leader is designated squadron leader. Each fighter is capable of being flight leader or squadron leader and can replace any flight or squadron leader following any re-designation of mission or loss as necessary.
The Arrayda class uses the same hull and many of the same components as the Sadarah class autonomous fighter and the County Navy is evaluating both designs individually and together.
One aspect that the Navy is considering with the Arrayda is its lack of complete autonomy as the missiles will at some point run out. Also the combination of the squadron as a single battery is not as effective as the Sadarah’s. However it out performs the Sadarah from an agility perspective.
Best regards,
Ewan
