.... is a 'ficton' some form of elementary particle? ("Professor, the ficton density is increasing the closer we get to one Collinson's PCs....")

Or or are they some species or culture? ("Who are the chaps with the spears chasing us?" "The fictons... they don't like being compared to fig newtons...." "It was an honest mistake!")

Or is it some odd unit of measure? ("Oi, sky-dropper, I kin supply ye one twelfth of ficton of fresh cut quadrotritriticale... guaranteed Tribble free....")
