My apologies for providing a partial answer in my first reply. T5 PDF Core Book 2 Starships 2015-2019 edition 5.10 p. 73 has the following options for jump drives: Jump Bubble, Jump Plate, and Jump Grid.
The jump grid, appears to be from CT, and jump plate both channel jump energy (field?) close to the hull. The jump bubble, as noted in the original post, generates a spherical field around the hull.
