And our tastes all differ: For myself, the major adventure arc in the Digest Group's ongoing journal was absolutely and completely of no use or interest to my group or msyelf. I bought that product for all the *other* non-headlining pieces that it provided. I'm sure some people loved reading that adventure and felt it had some value.
Hah! That's interesting. one of my group has rather taken agin _In Search of Angels_ (i think a bad gaming experience rather than anything to do with the campaign itself) which I had vaguely thought might be something we could do post TTA if I can ever face doing anything ever again. With that ruled out I was considering the DGP campaign, but haven't looked at it in detail in years and never from the point of view of running it. Did it not fit into your schedule because of other things or was it that you weren't grabbed by the concept or something else? (If I may ask.)
Of course, that presumes we ever get to the end of TTA which at present reckoning feels as if it might be an infinitely receding goal line! (Zeno's Paradox if I remember aright. Or one of them at least.) I'm not sure if it's my general ineptitude at driving the plot forwards, a reluctance to 'finish' on my part, or perhaps even a reluctance to finish on the players' part! Of course, it's possible that in actual fact we have more fun with the non-TTA bits than what's actually in the book. Though I'd like to hope the love has been equally shared about. Speaking of which, I need to firm up our next date.
