I hope you'll be pleased to hear that my cube of a random number generator has come up with your name on it, so if you'd like to join us on May 7th from 6-9pm British Summer Time which is one hour ahead of GMT, then you'd be more than welcome.  Not sure I know what timezone you're in, so can't calculate the difference.

I'm aiming to use WebEx which may or may not work, we'll find out!, and I've sent an invitation to my regulars which I'll also endeavour to send to you.  There may be one or two of them that haven't used WebEx so there maybe something to install - I can't recall now if you can just do it through a browser or whether it requires a download - so look out for an invitation to maybe do a field test closer to the time - say, at the start of May.

I think I outline the options for a character on TML, but if you could express a preference at least, I'll reiterate them here and I'll see what we can work out.  Not promising anything.

You find us 'in media res' I believe the expression is on our way to Yebab (Spinward Marches 3002 C9A489A-8) but about five days out IIRC having just explored (most of) an unfamiliar ship.  You probably know as well as I do if you've been kind enough to read the write ups. There may be a bit of finishing up to do there and normally we might have role played something of the five day journey into the planet, but if you want option d) below, we'll keep that very short or elide over it to get on with meeting you.

a) if you really want the TTA experience and want one of the book characters (which we've been running as NPCs) - that's possible.  We have a pilot Kunal Dins (9B7955), medic (with a dodgy background) Adma Lewes (684AAA) who proved popular at TravCon, gunner Egon Trilby (4BC888) and of course the vargr Gvoudzon who could theoretically be a gunner but currently just wears fancy waistcoats!  (One snag with Adma is that his former player just *might* turn up on the night - difficult to tell for various reasons - and if he did, I'd be bound to let him play Adma).

b) if you're not so fussed about that, but would like one of the long standing NPCs that we've accumulated along the way (from experience at TravCon Lily Lee the archaeologist with explosives skill goes down very well (675BA6) and more esoterically we have Flo who is a Llellewyloly (Dandelion) and I've no idea what playing her as a PC would be like but you'd have freest rein in terms of what we think we 'know' about her as she only joined the crew as a stevedore a couple of Jumps ago.

c) you could take on one of the passengers headed for Yebab (or through).  They could easily be upgraded to PC.  I guess the pick of them would be Bridey Takopa the ex-Naval Lt Cdr who led much of the look around the alien vessel in the last session. (I think it was Boots Aga and Sheila Blake who also helped out as 'red shirts' on the look round). But Minister Varun Patel might be interesting as diplomat going to the Ebokin  They're all below in case someone grabs you to make of what you will.

d) you could suggest your own PC entirely as someone that we meet on Yebab.  Could be a passenger to wherever next; could be something else you'd need to negotiate with the players/PCs.  (I'd also be up for you creating your own PC and being one of the passengers as I didn't actually name them all, so no one would know.)

I'm not sure I have a strong preference for which you pick so I thought I'd sound you out as to what you might prefer first.  I reserve the right to adjust things as necessary of course - even up to changing my mind and inflicting someone on you if it's necessary for some reason.  Seems unlikely but I've not prepped the session yet.  Must start on that.

Technically we're running Mongoose Traveller1st Edition rules though it's so light I wouldn't stress about it if you don't know them.  (Some bits have been fading into MgT2 such as trade when we last bothered).  The March Harrier is the classic Traveller design not the MgT1

After that, if you've been reading the write ups you're probably good to go with our 'history' and our predilections.  You may well be more briefed that my players who I'm relatively certain haven't been reading all the metacommentary you've had on TML.  I don't *think* there's much there now however that is secret from the players but if you think something might be something you shouldn't know, please just check with me first.  (WebEx allows 'private' chat in the session, or via email before).
