Hi,

      Is there a list of Zhodani creatures gathered anywhere?  I'm looking for some hungry carnivores, just ready to stalk player characters... :-)

The only three native animals mentioned in published materials are the primary domesticated animals, the kredl (cattle analog), abrstia (arrstia in GT for some reason; a chicken analog), and the noql, an amphibian.  The GT book mentions fishing, and the old Keith illos of Zhodani ships have always suggested to me that they have some *fast* oceanic carnivores.  No land carnivores are mentioned in CT or GT.

The Mongoose book adds a winged predator, the Vlezjaq, a riding/racing beast, the Yetsasl, a draft animal, the Yonchobo, and a chameleonic "rodent", the Zjipyli.

Perusing the glossary in the Mongoose book, a stalking predator might be called a Ranstletl ("Silent Hate"), or Ranst for short.
